FTBC SPOTLIGHT: ABLE MADE SOCKS
"We ask our customers to share the causes that are closest to their hearts, and breast cancer research is one of the top causes they selected. The statistics are alarming. About one in eight U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. [...]
Often, in those situations, you can feel helpless. I want to empower our community–people who have been diagnosed, survivors, families and friends–and give them a way to stay positive and to help."

PAY IT FORWARD
This author had a personal connection to Ucal McKenzie.
Sometimes I view the internet as a great big, black hole, and other times I am amazed at the way it connects the dots ... When I spoke to my daughter about him today, she got a little misty eyed when she said “Mom, Ucal was the face of all guidance at our school.” It made me feel Suzanne’s passion all the more intensely, and I immediately wanted to share this innovative company with all of my readers ... If we as consumers remember that the choices we make fuel the economy, collectively our dollars can have a real impact.
